Gladys Barber Hannah

Mrs. Gladys Barber Hannah, age 72, of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus.

Mrs. Hannah was born December 29, 1953, in Newnan, daughter of the late John Clovis Barber and Josie Mae Calhoun Barber. A resident of Meriwether and Coweta Counties most of her life, she was a member of Family Worship Center in Hogansville. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, and especially loved caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Crawford (Chris) of Manchester, Jennifer Beane (Wesley) of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Brooke Nichols, Dianna Payton, Dylan Crawford, Luke Hannah, Anthony Coalson, Lexi Beane, Breanna Seals, Anthony Beane; six great-grandchildren and three more soon to arrive; and her sister, Frances Calhoun of Grantville.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
