MRS. GLADYS DORROUGH Mrs. Gladys Belcher Dorrough, 63, of Hogansville, died Thursday, August 11, 2011, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Robert Longshore will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 Sunday night. Born May 7, 1948 in Coweta County, Mrs. Dorrough lived in Troup County most of her life. She was a homemaker, had worked as a waitress, and was a member of Lighthouse Tabernacle of Jesus Christ in Hogansville. Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Tapia-Salazar and Linda Westmoreland; sons, James Johnson, Carl Pope, Jeffery Pope, and Jason Johnson; her mother, Estelle Coursey Belcher; sisters, June Dorminey, Evelyn Perry, Susie Carter, and Doris Jones; brothers, Irvin Belcher, Randall Belcher, Charles Belcher, and Allen Belcher; 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha Pope, and father, Ralph Belcher. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 7 until 9 Sunday night, August 14th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 15th, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Luthersville Cemetery
