Mr. Gerald H. Jabaley, 74, of Palmetto and formerly of Grantville, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville.
Mr. Jabaley was born November 29, 1942, in Grantville, son of the late Joe Asef Jabaley and Marie Perez Jabaley. A veteran of service in the U.S. Navy, he lived in Grantville most of his life, was a retired business owner. He was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Newnan and was a member of Hogansville American Legion Post 152.
Survivors include his children, Joseph Jabaley of New York, NY, Anne-Marie Douglas and her husband Charles of Newnan, Julie Masenthin and her husband Brian of Cherry Log, Suzanne Jabaley of Portland, OR, Gerald Jabaley and his wife Karen of Grantville; sisters, Lorraine "Totsie" Jabaley and Jeanette Keener, both of Newnan, Marlene Gasses of McDonough; brother, James Jabaley of LaGrange; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Jabaley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Father Henry Atem will officiate and interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Tuesday night.
