Gerald S B Gosdin

Mr. Gerald S. B. Gosdin, 77, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Gosdin was born November 24, 1945, in LaGrange, son of the late Silven Bernes Gosdin and Cora Dell Robinson Gosdin. A graduate of Troup High School, where he was active in athletics, he retired as an industrial shipping and receiving manager and had lived in Meriwether County for 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, 4-wheel driving, boating, and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Gosdin of Greenville; daughter, Celina Gosdin (Shawn Marquis) of Fortson; son, Richard "Richie" Gosdin (Christy Gosdin), also of Fortson; grandchildren, Jacob Nave (Holly Nave), Dillon Gosdin, Jack Gosdin; niece, Tracy Cooley Whitten; nephew, Greg Gosdin; great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, E J "Boots" Gosdin.

The family will plan a memorial gathering later to celebrate Mr. Gosdin's life.
