Gerald Alex Gliddon

Gerald Alex Gliddon, 32, of Pine Mountain, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Gliddon was born August 29, 1992, in Savannah, GA, and spent his childhood and early years in Gulfport, MS. He loved softball and baseball and had served a number of years as a private coach for travel teams. He also enjoyed hunting fishing, golfing and weight-lifting.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Billingsley Gliddon of Pine Mountain; his mother, Emily Sabo and his sister, Anna Joy Gliddon, both of Gulfport; his step-father, Kevin Flowers; uncle, Greg Gliddon; and aunts, Lora Vascik and Joy Sabo. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Allen Gliddon, and his uncle, Brian Gliddon.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service. Following the service, the family will gather at 7600 Scenic Heights Rd. in Manchester.
