George Allen Adcock

MR. GEORGE A. ADCOCK Mr. George Allen Adcock, 64, of Milledgeville, died Friday, January 4, 2013, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin. Born August 7, 1948, in LaGrange, Mr. Adcock was the son of the late Garrett Wilson Adcock and Clemmis Nadine Carroll Adcock. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, and lived in California before returning to Georgia. He was formerly employed at Kason Industries in Newnan and had been a resident of the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville for the past five years. Survivors include his sisters and brothers in-law, Rebecca Daigrepont and Bonnie and Jimmy Vowell, all of LaGrange, Peggy and Greg Cranford of Brasstown, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family in remembering George, from 5 until 7 Wednesday evening, at the home of Bonnie and Jimmy Vowell, at 62 Hamby Road in LaGrange. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
