Geoffrey A. Wheeler

Mr. Geoffrey Anthony Wheeler, 63, of Hogansville, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at his home. Mr. Wheeler was born September 24, 1958, Chicago, Illinois. A veteran of service in the U.S. Navy, he had lived in Hogansville for a number of years and had been employed as a carpenter. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Krziske Wheeler of Hogansville; his children, Toni Swift of Arkansas, Katy Myers and Shane Captain, both of Washington; six grandchildren; and his brother, George A. Wheeler, Jr. of Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, George Arthur Wheeler; his sister, Gina Wheeler Dorrough; and brothers, Donald Joseph Wheeler and David Edward Wheeler. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 19, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating.
