Geneva Deloach Johnson

MRS. GENEVA D. JOHNSON Mrs. Geneva DeLoach Johnson, 88, of LaGrange, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at UniHealth Post Acute Care in Greenville. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. (EST), Friday, November 12, at the graveside in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Daviston, AL, with the Reverend Dwayne Perdue officiating. Mrs. Johnson was born June 3, 1922, in Chambers County, AL, daughter of the late Jesse and Rosie Blackmon DeLoach. She lived in LaGrange over sixty years, was Baptist by faith, and was the wife of the late Omie Preston Johnson. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Joyce and Lorinza Heath and Anita and Bobby Traylor, all of LaGrange, Nellie Brooks of Valley, AL, Gail and Charles Davis of Canton, NC, Jeannette and John Galloway of Gulfport, MS; sons and daughters in-law, Floyd Johnson, Byron and Carol Johnson, Larry and Debbie Johnson, Jerry and Debbie Johnson, Tony and Katie Johnson, Mike Johnson and Danny Johnson, all of LaGrange; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Thursday night, November 11th, at Claude A.
