Geneva C. Dickerson

Mrs. Geneva C. Dickerson, 97, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Dickerson was born June 18, 1927, in Randolph County, Alabama, daughter of the late Charlie Thurman Colemon and Vesta Lee Harman Colemon. A resident of Atlanta for many years, she retired as an engineering assistant from AT&T after 34 years of service. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville.

Survivors include her brothers, Ray Colemon of Tucker, Randall Colemon and his wife Rhonda Colemon of LaGrange; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edwin Spradlin; brothers, Roy Colemon and Reed Colemon; step-mother, Fannie Ruth Crews Colemon; step-sister, LaRose Surowic; and step-brothers, Fred Crews and Jack Crews, Sr.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, at Highland Baptist Church in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater and the Reverend Zachary Masdon will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the service.
