MRS. GAYLA ROYSTER Mrs. Gayla Parmer Royster, 61, of LaGrange, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, at Hogansville Church of God. Rev. Ronnie Fuller, Rev. Dorothy Herndon, Rev. Wayne Hester, Rev. Randall Hodge, Rev. Lillie Fuller, and Rev. Lane Farley will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange. Mrs. Royster was born May 10, 1949, in LaGrange, daughter of the late L. G. and Elva Hester Parmer. A graduate of LaGrange College, she worked in the Registrar's Office at LaGrange College and retired from the payroll department of Milliken and Co. Elm City Plant. She was a member of Hogansville Church of God, where she had served as pianist and was active in the Ladies Ministry. Survivors include her husband, Paul Royster; daughter and son in-law, Johna and Jeffery Wingate, all of LaGrange; step son and daughter in-law, Jeremy and Marcia Royster of Hogansville; sisters and brothers in-law, Sheila and Jim Rushing of Oklahoma City, OK, Sandra Parmer of Brandon, FL, Nalta and Ronnie Massey of Dalton, Rhonda and Steve Raines of LaGrange, and Angel and John Costa of Acworth; and grandchildren, Kimi McNair, Michael Wingate, Cece Wingate, Matthew Wingate, Katie Wingate, Jackson Wingate, Jordan Wingate, John Paul Royster, and Jackilyn Royster. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 9 Sunday night, January 30th, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 31st, at Hogansville Church of God Interment: Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange
