MR. GARY L. WALTON Mr. Gary L. Walton, 53, of Five Points, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at West Georgia Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, at City Light Church in LaGrange, with Pastor Mark Davenport and Pastor Michelle Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 until 3 Friday afternoon. Gary was born January 9, 1961, in Heard County and lived in Troup County most of his life. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for DEI Enterprises in Valley, Alabama and was a member of City Light Church. He enjoyed football and was an especially avid Auburn Tiger fan. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Walton of Five Points; daughters, Kari Walton, Kayla Walton and Haley Walton, all of LaGrange; grandson, Kamden Brewer; his parents, Joyce and Clint Huddleston of LaGrange; brothers, Stanley Huddleston and his wife, Tondra, Tim Huddleston and his wife, Pam; mother in-law and father in-law, Sandy and Tommy Gamble; sisters in-law and brothers in-law, Gerrie Lynn and Darren Wiker, Judy and Chris Swinford, J. L. and Cheryl Norton, all of LaGrange: and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Cato. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Walton Memory Fund at any Community Bank and Trust branch. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Fuenral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
