GALEN S. MALLORY Galen Stuart Mallory, 20, of West Point, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at The Medical Center in Columbus. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Max McCord officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 Friday night. Galen was born January 25, 1993, in LaGrange, lived in Troup County all of his life, and was a member of Rosemont Baptist Church. He was a 2011 graduate of Troup High School, was employed at Oakhurst Farms, and planned to attend Southern Union State Community College in the fall. Galen enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as running, fishing, and hanging out with his friends. Survivors include his parents, Kerry and Elaine Mallory of West Point; sister, Janet Mallory of West Point; his maternal grandmother, Martha Davis Stewart of Lanett, Ala.; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Calvin J. Stewart; his paternal grandparents, Anne and Don Mallory; and his aunt, Lorrie Mallory Seymour. Claude A.
