G. B. Mclendon

MR. G. B. McLENDON Mr. G. B. McLendon, 81, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015, at his home. Mr. McLendon was born September 3, 1933, in Hogansville, son of the late Gordon Byron McLendon and Bessie Hale McLendon. A veteran of service in the U. S. Army, he lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida most of his life and retired from Sunlight Company, where he was a master concrete specialist. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann McLendon of Hogansville; his step-children, David Askew and B. O. Askew III of Hogansville, Mary White of LaGrange, and Angela Wenger of Dacula; seven step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at their home in Hogansville and will hold a private family memorial service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
