Frankie Blair Bunn

Mrs. Frankie Blair Bunn, 68, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at East Alabama Medical Center Lanier in Valley, Alabama. Mrs. Bunn was born January 24, 1949, in Newnan, daughter of the late James Franklin Blair and Esther Brown Blair. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she was a graduate of West Georgia Technical College and served a number of years as a licensed practical nurse at Clark-Holder Clinic and West Georgia Medical Center. She was a member of Roper Heights Baptist Church in West Point and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Survivors include her husband, Michael Bunn of Lanett; sons, James Cavender and his wife Anita of LaGrange, Michael Ray Bunn, Jr. of Lanett; grandchildren, Maddie Cavender, Drew Cavender, Trey Cosper, and Michael Ray Bunn III. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Todd Cavender, and her sister, Barbara Blair Turbyfield. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Eric Rice officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
