MRS. FRANCES L. CREWS Mrs. Frances Lancaster Crews, 77, of Hogansville, died Saturday, December 20, 2008, at her home. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Bill Deakins will officiate and interment will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in the St. Marks Community of Meriwether county. Born April 27, 1931, in Hogansville, Mrs. Crews was the daughter of the late Arnold and Mary Gladys Fuller Lancaster. She was a lifelong resident of Hogansville, was retired from Uniroyal, Inc. and from Botex Manufacturing Co., and was a member of Union Baptist Church in the St. Marks Community. Survivors include her husband, Jack M. Crews, Sr.; son, Jack M. Crews, Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Hogansville; son in-law, Bobby Norton of Franklin; sister, Violet Elder and brother, Johnny Lancaster, both of Hogansville; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Michael Crews and Randall Crews; daughter, Tracie Norton; grandsons, Gene Crews and Jeremy Norton; and great-grandson, Cameron Adams. The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 12:30 until 2:00 Monday afternoon, December 22nd, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 22nd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Union Baptist Church Cemetery in the St. Marks Community of Meriwether county
