Faye Shirey Conway

Mrs. Faye Shirey Conway, 67, of Hogansville, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. Conway was born April 5, 1958, in Franklin, daughter of the late Fred Lamar Shirey and Julia Helen Whitten Shirey. A resident of Troup County most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and had been employed as a medical transcriptionist. She loved to read and enjoyed cooking and listening to music.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Conway; daughters, Lori Searels (Roby Carden), and Jennifer McGowan, all of Hogansville; sister, Ann Sewell of Adairsville; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great-grandchild; her sister, Joy Shirey; and her brother, Tony Shirey.

The family will host a service to celebrate Faye's life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 10, at Freedom House in LaGrange.
