Faron Morris Hammond

Faron Morris "Hollywood" Hammond, 61, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his home. Mr. Hammond was born October 28, 1958, in Hogansville, son of the late Rembert Morris Hammond and Sue Gaddy Hammond Bearden. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, he had been employed as a roofer and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his daughter and son in-law, Holli and Robert Clendenin of LaGrange; sons, Bill and Jennifer Hammond of LaGrange, Christopher Hammond and Jacob Hammond of Hogansville; grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Lauren, and Savannah; brothers and sisters, Alan and Angel Hammond of Whitesburg, Lynn Hammond of LaGrange, Gene and Jessie Morgan of Tallapoosa, Sandy and Bubba Bryant of Calhoun; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Theron Dale Hammond. A family memorial service will be planned at a later time, but friends may visit the funeral home on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, to sign the guest register.
