Mrs. Evelyn Fenlason Hamblin, 78, of Greenville, passed away, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at her home.
Mrs. Hamblin was born July 14, 1947, in Painesville, Ohio, and lived in California before making her home in Georgia in 1974. She was employed as a pharmacy assistant for CVS and Revco Drugs prior to her retirement and had also served as a special education instructor in the Fayette County School System. She was a member of Change Church in Grantville.
Survivors include her husband, David E. Hamblin, Sr.; daughters, Evelyn Stransky (John Ingram), Sherry King, Melynda Ingram, and Shelly Carmack; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hamblin was preceded in death by her son, David Earle Hamblin, Jr.; her father, Arthur Fenlason; her mother, Florence Whipple Fenlason; sister, Lois Hand; brother, Jim Fenlason; granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Stransky; and great-grandchildren, Donte Wootin and Zaniyah Parks.
A private family viewing and service will be held.
