Evangeline Dominey Taylor

Mrs. Evangeline Dominey Taylor, 82, of Franklin, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, at Pruitt Healthcare in Franklin. Mrs. Taylor was born November 13, 1933, in Houston County, daughter of the late Rufus Julius Dominey and Ada Irene Parker Dominey. A former resident of Florida and Alabama, she lived in Georgia most of her life and had lived at Franklin for five years. She was the wife of the late Gene Taylor. Survivors include her sisters, Kitty Gordon of Talladega, AL and Linda Roberts of Lexington, SC; and several nieces and nephews. The family is honoring Mrs. Taylor's request for cremation and a private memorial will be held later. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
