Eva Jordan Morris

MRS. EVA JORDAN MORRIS Mrs. Eva (Ebo) Jordan Morris, of LaGrange, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the graveside in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend Terry Rainwater officiating. Mrs. Morris was born in Bainbridge, daughter of the late Eugene and Eula Southall O'Karma. A resident of Atlanta for many years, she lived in Hogansville from 1985 until making her home in LaGrange in 1991, was a former member of the Hogansville Chamber of Commerce and was Baptist by faith. She was a former employee of Southern Bell and retired as a manager for Oliver Enterprises of Atlanta. Survivors include her husband, Joel Morris of LaGrange; daughter and son in-law, Donna and Spencer Kirkpatrick of Woodstock; step-daughters, Kathie Roper of LaGrange, Karen Murphy and her husband, Don, of Auburn; three grandsons; two step-grandsons; two great-grandchildren; her friend of more than 60 years, Geneva Dickerson of Hogansville; her caregiver, Joyce Baldwin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Virginia Jordan Howard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Claude A.
