Mrs. Eunice Lester Spradlin, 87 of Hogansville, passed away, Monday November 16, 2021, at Ansley Park Health and Rehabilitation.
Born October 5, 1934, in Suttle, Alabama, Mrs. Spradlin was the daughter of the late Fabous Lester and Susie Moseley Lester. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, Mrs. Spradlin owned and operated Spradlin's Restaurant for many years, was active with the Hogansville Pilot Club, coordinated Christmas Parades, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Doug Spradlin of Panama City Beach, Fl., Bobby and Janice Spradlin of Newnan, and Linda and Ronnie Smith of Hogansville; sisters and brothers, Florence Gooch and Nevim of LaGrange, and Glenn and Tootsie Lester of Mobile, Al.; grandchildren, Andrea and Jamie Stitcher of Columbus, Dena and Jonathan Taylor, Kelley and Chris Kesterson all of Newnan, Matt and Melissa Smith of LaGrange, and Ashley and Jeffery Harper of Grantville; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Spradlin was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Spradlin; grandson, Chad Spradlin; and brothers and sister in-law, Elliot Lester and Raymond and Mary Lester.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 until 12 Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Highland Baptist Church.
