Eugenia Elizabeth "Genie" Brown

Mrs. Eugenia Elizabeth "Genie" Brown, 75, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Genie was born November 14, 1948, in Atlanta, daughter of the late Eugene and Clara Gray Williams. Before making her home in Valley, AL recently, she lived in the Coweta County area most of her life, worked at and retired from Wal-Mart as a sales associate, and was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Newnan. She loved any animal, including chickens, horses, dogs and cats, and also enjoyed tending to her flowers.

Anyone that met Genie, loved her. If you became her friend, you had a friend forever.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Jimmy Brown of Valley, AL; son and daughter in-law, Lee and Susie Hunt and their son Tyler of Williamson; and step-daughter and step-son in-law, Beth and Eddie Hall and their children Olivia and Mason of Newnan.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, with the Reverend David Arrington officiating.
