Mrs. Ethel Emory Johnson, 79, of Hogansville, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was born December 2, 1946, in Heard County, daughter of the late Quillian Emory and Maude Arrington Emory Colley. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she was Baptist by faith and was employed for a number of years by Uniroyal, Inc. and retired from Westek Textiles. She enjoyed fishing and camping and especially loved being a NaNa to all of her nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her sisters, Flo Lane and Betty Baker, both of Hogansville and a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.
