Ethel Delores Gaddy

Mrs. Ethel Delores Herndon Gaddy, 83, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Gaddy was born November 25, 1940, daughter of the late Leonard and Valena Collier Herndon. A resident of the Hogansville most of her life, she was a homemaker and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hogansville for forty years. She was a talented artist and enjoyed sewing and reading.

Survivors include her children, Tina Tinch and her husband Lee of LaGrange, Debra St.Clair of Hogansville, James Breazeal of Columbus, Lisa Janney and David Breazeal, both of Hogansville; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Galloway, Gracie Moore, Gail Searels; brothers, Richard and James Herndon, all of Hogansville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. "Bo" Gaddy; sisters, Patricia Williams and Janice Wilson; and brothers, Larry and William "Buck" Herndon.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, prior to the service.
