Ethel Stone Beamon

MRS. ETHEL S. BEAMON Mrs. Ethel Stone Beamon, 82, of Newnan, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, at her home. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, at Bethel Baptist Church in the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County. The Reverend Chuck Byrom, the Reverend Bobby Boswell, and the Reverend Watson Mills will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Beamon was born December 13, 1927, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late Oscar and Annie Myrl Key Stone. She attended Norman Park College and retired in 1978 from Southern Bell Telephone Company, after thirty years of service. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Joe Beamon of Newnan; sister, Louise Bulfin of Lawrenceville; and several nieces and nephews. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Sunday night, May 9th, at Claude A.
