Esther Stitcher Bolt

Mrs. Esther Stitcher Bolt, age 72, of Five Points, AL, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026, at her home.

Mrs. Bolt was born May 10, 1954, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Homer Buford Stitcher, Sr. and Betty Ruth Koonce Stitcher. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church in LaGrange and was employed as a manager for Shoney’s Restaurants for many years. She is remembered as a loving homemaker, mother, and grandmother who loved cooking and enjoyed preparing food for large family get-togethers.

Survivors include her sons, John Marlin Bolt (Amy) of Georgianna, AL, Rockey Bolt (Misty) of Five Points, AL, Johnny Buford Bolt (Jennifer) of Lanett, AL; grandchildren, Cody Lee Bolt (Amanda), Destinee Bolt (Trevor), Corey Ray Bolt (Randallyn), Chasity Woodworth (Jacob), Hannah Bolt (Matt), Austin Bolt (Sierra), Leighanne Horton (Riley), Deanne Horton (Ethan), D J Bolt; great-grandchildren, Emily Bolt, Jacob Brewer, Hayden Bolt, Raylynn Bolt, Ryder Bolt, Payton Woodworth, Harden Bolt, Oaklyn Bolt; sister, Tammy Johnston (Thyrone) of McDonough; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her paren

ts, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert E. Stitcher and H. B. Stitcher, Jr.; and a special niece, Tiffany McKeen.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, at the graveside in Hillview East Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Reverend Doug Bingham and the Reverend Buster Dockins officiating

The family will receive friends at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28.
