Erwin Medford

MR. ERWIN MEDFORD Mr. Erwin Medford, 81 of Lone Oak, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Born September 5, 1940 in Canton, NC, Mr. Medford was the son of the late Lewin and Mary Milton Medford. He was a resident of Lone Oak for 40 years and was an Army veteran. Mr. Medford worked at the Lone Oak Tree Farm for many years, loved to garden, and could fix anything mechanical. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rosemary Medford; daughter and son in-law, Elaine and Gary Hillyer, all of Lone Oak; son and daughter in-law, Mike and Becky Medford of LaGrange; sister and brother in-law, Loretta and Michael Rector of Johnstown, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer Hillyer, Amanda Sawyer (Zack), Rachel Saucier, Sarah Key (Robert), Chris Rippy (Michelle), Jason Rippy, Chad Littlefield (Ali), and Carla Vasquez (Selvin); great-grandchildren, Jayden Baldwin, Emilia Sawyer, Eli Sawyer, Katelin Rippy, Haley Rippy, Emily Jackson, Lizzie Littlefield, Chad Littlefield, Jr., Blair Littlefield, and Solomon Delrosario; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Kory Trinrud will officiate and inurnment will be in Allen-Lee Memorial UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon.
