Erston Mcclain

Mr. Erston McClain, 89, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation in Barnesville. Mr. McClain was born January 14, 1928, in Liberty Hill, son of the late Ernest Quillian McClain and Annie Farmer McClain. Before making his home at Heritage Inn in 2009, he was a lifelong resident of Troup County, was a member of the Assembly of God, and retired from West Georgia Medical Center after fifteen years of service. Survivors include his sister, Mary Weldon of LaGrange; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, with the Reverend Leonard Hodge officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately before and after the memorial service. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
