MRS. ERNESTINE REEVES Mrs. Ernestine Reeves, 72, of LaGrange, died Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Reeves was born August 30, 1941, in LaGrange, daughter of the late Oliver and Nellie Coggins Booth. A lifelong resident of LaGrange, she was a member of East Vernon Baptist Church, was employed at West Georgia Medical Center for 23 years, and retired from Federal Express after 18 years of service. She had the ability to do and handle anything and her family was her first priority. Survivors include her husband, Dwain Reeves of LaGrange; daughters, Kimberly Hopkins of Leesburg, Cindy McRae of LaGrange; son, Marty Reeves and his wife, Wanda of LaGrange; sister and brother in-law, Lois and Jimmy Brown of West Point; grandchildren, Benjamin Whitley and his wife, Whitney, Lindsey and Eric Hyslop, Tyler Hopkins, Ethan Hopkins, Corbin, Reeves, Serena Reeves; great-granddaughter, Camren Whitley; and nephew, Allen Brown and his wife, Tina.
