Ernest Ray Sikes

Mr. Ray Sikes, 77, of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Sikes was born August 11, 1946, in LaGrange, son of the late Chester Gray Sikes and Mary Lou Waldroup Sikes. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was employed by Playtex International and Hanes Hosiery and retired as a service technician from Troup County. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed visiting flea markets.

Survivors include his sons, Scott Sikes of Pine Mountain, Matt Sikes and his wife Tara Sikes of Hogansville; daughter, Cindy Sikes-McKenzie of LaGrange; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family is honoring the wishes of Mr. Sikes that no memorial service be conducted.
