Ernest Elmer Norton, Jr.

MR. ERNEST E. NORTON, JR. Mr. Ernest E. Norton, Jr., 74, of Eastman and formerly of Hogansville, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015, at Eastman Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Norton was born December 11, 1940, in Troup County, son of the late Ernest Elmer Norton and Musa Mae Dunevan Norton. He lived in Hogansville for many years and was a retired logger. Survivors include his daughters, Brandy and Wendy; sisters, Hazel Norton of Newnan and Annie Mae Dimzoff of Twin Lakes, WI; brother, Jerry Norton of Rome; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Evans Norton. A private interment was held in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
