Eric R. (Doodle) Huff

MR. ERIC R. HUFF Mr. Eric R. (Doodle) Huff, 73, of Sharpsburg, died Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Atlanta Medical Center. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 17, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend David Pickard will officiate and interment will be in Mytle Hill Cemetery. Born August 17, 1937, in Hogansville, Mr. Huff was the son of the late Henry and Ruby Miller Huff. He had lived in Sharpsburg since 1986, retired as a mechanic from Northwest Airlines, and was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg. He was a fan of all sports and was an avid golfer. Survivors include daughters and sons in-law, Marie and Anthony Taylor and Glenice and Chris Mote, all of Newnan, Barbie and Steve Edwards of Boulder, MT; son, Rick Craven of Newnan; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Huff. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
