Miss. Emma Grace Pettigrew, 12, of Hogansville, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston in Atlanta.
Emma was born September 3, 2010, in Riverdale. She was a lifelong resident of the west Georgia area and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hogansville. Emma was full of life, loved everybody, and especially loved her church.
Survivors include her parents, Josh and Desiree Pettigrew; brothers and sister, Josiah Tyler Pettigrew, Elijah James Pettigrew and Madison Hope Pettigrew, all of Hogansville; grandparents, , Doug and Mary Ann Pitts of LaGrange, and Chris and Shelly Pettigrew of Dixon Springs, TN, and Bill and Jeanie Wilhite of Wheaton, MO; great grandparents, Mel and Jimmy Hodnett of Newnan, Edward Markward of TX, and Patsy Pettigrew of Dixon Springs, TN; uncles, Connor Pettigrew and Dakoda Pettigrew, both of Dixon Springs, TN; and aunts, Nancy Cheatham of LaGrange, and Melanie Mickey of Bremen.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, at Antioch Baptist Church. Pastor Alan Kirk and Pastor Derek Farr will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday evening.
