Eloise Strickland Gann

MRS. ELOISE S. GANN Mrs. Eloise Strickland Gann, 67, of Luthersville, passed away, Friday, February 6, 2015, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Gann was born May 20, 1947, in Meriwether County, daughter of the late James Archer Strickland and Mildred Abner Strickland. A resident of Luthersville most of her life, she was a certified nursing assistant and was a member of Miracle Way Baptist Church in Senoia. Survivors include her husband, Reverend Harry Gann of Luthersville; sons, Ken Stapler and his wife, Ronda of Moreland, Wayne Stapler and his wife, Pam of Luthersville; step-daughters, Michelle Byers and Bridgette Huddleston, both of Newnan, Lisa Anderson of Monticello; brother and sister in-law, James and Ellen Strickland of Luthersville; and grandchildren, Taylor Guthrie, Jack Guthrie, Luci Guthrie, Megan Stapler, Orion Stapler. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Reverend Jonathan Hannah and Reverend James Calhoun will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 Saturday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
