Ellis A. King, Jr.

Mr. Ellis A. King, Jr., 70, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Pruitt Healthcare of Franklin.

Mr. King was born November 15, 1952, and lived in Troup County most of his life. A veteran of service in the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed flower gardening.

Survivors include his daughter, Tabitha and Jeff Lewis of Five Points, AL; his mother, Margaret Richardson of Hogansville; brothers and sisters, Jimmy King of LaGrange, Barbara and Rodney Sartin of Loganville, Sherri and Randy Siepel of Newnan, Greg and Rhonda Richardson of LaGrange; and grandchildren, Connor Nantz, Brittni King, Tyler King, Thomas King, Christa King, and Emma King. He was preceded in death by his son, Travis King; father, Ellis Alfred King, Sr.; step-father, Douglas Richardson; and brother, Douglas Richardson Jr.

The family is honoring Mr. King's wishes for cremation, and a memorial service is not being planned at this time.
