Ella Mae Wadsworth

Mrs. Ella Mae Wadsworth, 77, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Newnan Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Wadsworth was born July 18, 1942, in Rome, daughter of the late John Floyd Johns and Lula Belle Kennedy Johns. She was Baptist by faith, retired from Bank of America, and earned a degree in Accounting from Carroll Technical College. Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Beth and Wayne Newman and Sally Wadsworth and her fiancé Bruce Turner of Franklin; son and daughter in-law, Edward and Christy Wadsworth of Newnan; grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Studdard, Steven and Kim Studdard, Erica and Chad Brown, Adam and Angie Wadsworth, and Trevor Wadsworth and his fiancé Dorothy; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wadsworth was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Earnest Wadsworth. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Pastor Brian Hosmer and Pastor Christopher Johns will officiate and interment will be in Star of Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Friday night. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
