Elizabeth Leila Dodson

ELIZABETH DODSON Elizabeth Dodson, 59, of Hogansville, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her home. Ms. Dodson was born March 7, 1955, in Hogansville, daughter of the late William Henry Dodson and Marilyn VanNetta Dodson. A lifelong resident of Troup County, she was a 1973 graduate of Hogansville High School, was employed by Troup County Health Department for 30 years, and was currently employed by District Four Health Services. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hogansville and is remembered as a loving mother and friend. Survivors include her son, Matthew Knopp of Hogansville; and her brother, James Dodson of Phoenix, Arizona. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 until 2 Saturday afternoon. Claude A.
