Edwin F. Lowe

Mrs. Edwin F. Lowe, 89, formerly of Hogansville, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Brushy Creek Post Acute Care in Greer, SC. Mrs. Lowe was born November 14, 1930, in Randolph County, AL, daughter of the late Charlie and Vesta Harman Colemon. A resident of Hogansville most of her life, she retired from Uniroyal, Inc., was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and had been active in the Hogansville and Grantville Senior Centers. Following her retirement, she served as a caregiver for children at daycare and for the elderly through in-home care. Survivors include her daughter and son in-law, Nancy and Art Raven of Lyman, SC; sister, Geneva Dickerson of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Ray and Frances Colemon of Tucker, Randall and Rhonda Colemon of LaGrange; grandchildren, Judge Debbie Wade and her husband Richard of LaGrange, Reverend Zachary Masdon and his wife Karalee of Columbia, SC, Paul Raven of Walterboro, SC, Jeffrey Raven and Amanda Raven both of Greer, SC, Matthew and Sarah Raven of Mauldin, SC; and great-grandchildren, Cassie Wade, Carson Masdon, Sophia Masdon, and Bennett Raven. She was preceded in death by her husband, George N. Spradlin, Jr. and her husband, Howard E. Lowe. A family funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Zachary Masdon and the Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
