Mr. Edward A. Worley, 85, of Hogansville, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Worley was born October 16, 1938, in LaGrange, son of the late Cecil and Evie Shaddix Worley. A resident of Troup County most of his life, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and also owned and operated Ponderosa Pines Mobile Home Park in Hogansville. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Survivors include his daughter, Toni and Shawn Bidinger of Hogansville; son, Tommy and Vonda Worley of Opelika, AL; daughter in-law, Heather Worley of Opelika; sister, Nonie and Harold Wilkie of LaGrange; grandchildren, T J Tilley, Ian Bidinger, Christian Bidinger, Caleb Bidinger, Brittney Worley, Amber Worley, and Alexa Worley; 13 great-grandchildren; and step-children, Brenda and Brad Morman, Tim and Kim Pitts, Kim and Robert Martinage, Lonnie Webb, Roger Overton, Debbie and Joe Lawrence, Becky Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry Worley; his wives, Belinda Feagin Parham, Brenda Ivie Worley, and Loree Messer Worley; and brothers, Hubert Worley and Monroe Worley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Rev. Chris Wilkie will officiate and interment will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Monday, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange Charitable Trust, 1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240.
