MR. EDWARD J. WAGNER Mr. Edward J. Wagner, 80, of Franklin, died Friday, September 21, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Michael Reeves and Pastor Alex Montgomery will officiate and interment will be in the Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Saturday night. Mr. Wagner was born February 8, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late John and Beatrice Boyd Wagner. A U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Catholic Church and retired as a dockworker from the Teamsters Union. He had been a resident of Georgia for the past 35 years, Survivors include his daughter, Charmaine DesRosiers of Rochester, NH; sister, Anne Marie Dunn of Ft. Myers, FL; step-children, Lillie Mae Gaddy, Louise Gaddy and Harvey Hammett, all of Hogansville; and grandchildren, including Kimberly Herndon who was his caregiver. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation: from 6 until 8 Saturday night, September 22nd, at Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Services: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23rd, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home Interment: Corinth Cemetery
