Mr. Edward Royce Sitton, 59, of Dacula, passed away Monday, August 15, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Mr. Sitton was born November 14, 1956, in Newnan, and spent his childhood and young adult years in Greenville. He had been employed as an Emergency Medical Technician and was employed for a number of years as an office manager for medical practices. A member of Primrose United Methodist Church, he enjoyed cooking and had lived in the Atlanta area for 25 years.
Survivors include his life partner, Bob Russakoff of Dacula; his mother, Nan O'Neal Sitton of Greenville; sister, Jackie Rodriguez and her husband Ramon of Dadeville, AL; brother, Jerome Sitton of Greenville; niece, Carmen Jackson and her husband John of Tucson, AZ and nephew, Tony Rodriguez of Denham Springs, LA; great-niece, Shea Rodriguez; and great-nephews, Garrett Jackson and Preston Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Royce Sitton.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Terry Rainwater will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon.
