Edward E. Lowery

MR. EDWARD E. LOWERY Mr. Edward E. Lowery, 66, of Greenville, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Hospice LaGrange. Mr. Lowery was born August 21, 1945, in Troup County, son of the late Samuel Lowery and the late Edna Griffin Lowery Bledsoe. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and had lived in Meriwether County for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Burk Lowery of Greenville; step-daughter, Tabatha Stitcher of Salem, AL; step-father, William Bledsoe; step-sister, Edith Peitson of LaFayette, AL; step-brother, Paul Williamson of West Point; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons. He was raised with his cousins, Shirley Barnes Benson, of Senoia, and the late Bradley Barnes. The family is not planning a memorial service at this time. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
