Mrs. Edna Haynes, 86, of Hogansville, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange.
Mrs. Haynes was born May 30, 1933, in Hogansville, daughter of the late Marvin and Florence Rogers Dunevan. A lifelong resident of Hogansville, she was a member of Highland Baptist Church and retired from Community Action for Improvement in LaGrange.
Survivors include her daughters and son in-law, Debbie and Steve Bowie of Franklin, Vicki Barrett of Hogansville; sons, Steve Haynes and Mark Haynes of Hogansville and Ricky Haynes of LaGrange; sister, Freddie Edmonds of McDonough; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great=-grandchild with two more soon to arrive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Bobby Haynes and her sister, Jeanette Browder.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Milton Hall will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral from 6 until 8 Sunday night.
