Edna Grace Gable

Edna Grace Gable, 62, of Moreland, GA passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her home. Ms. Gable was born July 15, 1954, in Sylacauga, Alabama, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Gable and Geneva Boyd Gable. A resident of Coweta County most of her life, she loved Jesus with all her heart and was a retired private duty nursing assistant. She was an avid gardener and was able to plant and make anything grow. She loved to sing gospel music and enjoyed doll collecting, but her children and grandchildren were the most important parts of her life. Survivors include her daughters and sons in-law, Lisa and Chuck Davis of Senoia, Allison and Micheal Hyde of Sharpsburg; son, Michael Sherburn of Senoia; brothers, Ben Lewis and Robin Gable of Franklin, Tony and Janet Gable of Perry; and grandchildren, Wilson Chancey, Jessica Chancey, Bailee Hyde, Ryland Hyde. The family will host a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 16, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Luthersville, with Pastor Brian Hosmer officiating. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
