Edna Lowery Farrington

MRS. EDNA L. FARRINGTON Mrs. Edna Lowery Farrington, 94, of Morrow, died Thursday, December 24, 2009, at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale. The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. The Reverend Randall Hodge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville. Mrs. Farrington was born October 6, 1915, in Shawmutt, Alabama, daughter of the late Cecil Claude Lowery and the late Allie Tillery Lowery. She lived in the Atlanta area most of her life, was a member of the Baptist church, and retired from Dobbs House Restaurant at Atlanta Airport. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie and Mike Peppers of Morrow; 8 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Neese. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
