Edmund C. Vance Iii

Mr. Edmund Carl Vance, 58, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Vance was born June 16, 1967, in New Jersey, son of the late Edmund Carl Vance, Jr. and Charlene Clymo. A veteran of service in the U.S. Navy, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University and had been employed as a computer programmer. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his daughters and their spouses, Morgan White and David White of Blue Springs, MO, Abigail Kraupner and Amanda Kraupner of Hobart, IN; son and his wife, John Vance and Essence Vance of Marietta; and five sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Bugg Vance.

The family is not planning a memorial service at this time.
