Edmond "Ed" Corbin

Mr. Edmond "Ed" Corbin, 66, of LaGrange, GA passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Corbin was born January 20, 1951 in North Carolina, and lived in South Carolina for many years before making his home in Georgia. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Tucker of LaGrange; brothers and sisters in-law, Tommy and Nancy Corbin of Hogansville, Calvin and Kathy Corbin of Luthersville; sister, Lisa Tiller of Riverdale; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Irvin Corbin, and his sister, Rachel Knight. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Reverend Jody Mitchell will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is in charge of arrangements.
