Eddie Shelnutt, Jr.

Mr. Eddie Shelnutt, Jr., 67, of Sargent, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020, at his home. Mr. Shelnutt was born June 22, 1952, in Carrollton, son of the late Huey Eddie Shelnutt and Leola Driver Shelnutt. A resident of Coweta County most of his life, he was employed for 26 years by Bibb Manufacturing Company and attended Change Church in Grantville. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Shelnutt of Sargent; son, William Shelnutt and Judy of Carrollton; brother, Charles Potts of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Jeremy Coleman, Nathan Shelnutt, and Brianna Titshaw; three great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will host a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, at Arnco Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church. Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville is assisting the family.
