Eddie Lee Gentry

Eddie Lee Gentry, of Vernon, CT and a former resident of Hogansville, was born May 6, 1956, and passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eddie was born in Georgia and later made his home in New York before retiring in Connecticut. Wherever he lived, he built strong connections and lasting friendships. He was known for his generosity, reliability, and willingness to help anyone who needed it. If someone needed a hand, Eddie was there, no questions asked.

He is survived by his wife, Anne; his daughter, Heather; and his son, Brian. He was a proud grandfather to Juliana, Madelyn, and Dylan, each of whom brought him great joy. He is also survived by his sisters, Peggy and Lynn.

Eddie was a great friend to many and a steady presence to his family. His kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength left a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.

He will be remembered with love, gratitude, and respect.
