Mr. Earnest A. Flournoy, 59, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
Mr. Flournoy was born October 26, 1966, in Newnan, son of the late Hugh Edward Flournoy and Virgilene Massey Flournoy Pollard. A resident of Coweta County most of his life, he was Baptist by faith and worked in the asphalt paving industry for many years. Earnest was a family man who loved all of his family, and he enjoyed having conversations with all of his friends and acquaintances.
Survivors include his sons, Aiden Flournoy (Samantha), Johnathan Flournoy, and Jeremy Flournoy; grandchildren, Gracie Flournoy and Braylin Flournoy; sister, Sylvia Rodela (Juan); brother, Curtis Flournoy; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and Earnest’s constant companion, his dog, Sky.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Russell Arrington and Pastor T J Boyd will officiate and interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in the Rocky Mount Community of Meriwether County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, prior to the service.
